The new listings have started. First one up is the burnt orange hooded cowl in 80% lambswool and 20% silk yarn and it looks cool.
I must do some more in this yarn - I have three other colours in my stash; a lovely pink/purple colour, a smoky grey colour and a primrose colour. It's one of those wools that becomes super soft after the first wash. It's sold as a machine yarn so comes pretreated with oil so it runs through the knitting machine smoothly. The oil makes the wool feel hard but washing fluffs it out and then it feels so soft.
For daily exposure on Etsy it is recommended to list an item every day, so this is what I intend to try for my new 2012 listings. I have so many new items to list, this method should keep me busy for a few months. It will be interesting to see how this experiment effects the views and sales! Maybe it's just an Etsy ploy to get a steady income from the shop-owners!
